Aurora 100 Anos Final Shipment.
By Jesse | April 13, 2007 |
Cigar Aficionado let’s us know that one of the great cigars of the past few years is going off the market soon. That means I’m going hunting for a few of these to hold onto.
Tax day, April 15, will also be the date when the final shipment of Aurora 100 Años cigars is released to the market. The highly regarded cigars — the Belicoso size was named Cigar Aficionado’s No. 2 cigar of the year in January 2005 — have scored very well in Cigar Aficionado and Cigar Insider taste tests.

I took a few shots at the La Aurora factory at the Leon Jimenez Cultural Center in Santiago (Dominican Republic). They make the La Aurora Preferido line at this location. You can see the banner in the back of one of the pictures celebrating the Aniversario.

!! GASP !!
Sounds like one may want to buy four boxes.
Keep two and sell two on ebay in about 2-3 years.
