No Smoking In or Out…

A proposal to ban smoking on patios in the capital region attracted an equal number of speakers for and against the bylaw amendment in a final public meeting on the issue held in Colwood last night.

The Canadian tobacco tax is so outrageous that you’d think a smoking ban anywhere in the country would constitute double jeopardy. And considering this is Canada, and the ban is on smoking OUTDOORS?? How many months out of the year can a guy smoke a cigar outdoors without sustaining frostbite in Canada?

You are still allowed to smoke a cigar in your basement under a blanket for the time being…
