No Smoking In or Out…

As the USA and Canada battle for the biggest nanny state in North America, Canada sneaks another sucker punch to smokers.
A proposal to ban smoking on patios in the capital region attracted an equal number of speakers for and against the bylaw amendment in a final public meeting on the issue held in Colwood last night.

The Canadian tobacco tax is so outrageous that you’d think a smoking ban anywhere in the country would constitute double jeopardy. And considering this is Canada, and the ban is on smoking OUTDOORS?? How many months out of the year can a guy smoke a cigar outdoors without sustaining frostbite in Canada?

We need to have a million smoker march maybe? Of course a sit in might better some of the cigarette smokers tend to wheeze if the walk too far.
