Smoke Notes: Partagas Series S Exquisito

By Jesse | July 2, 2007

Partagas Series S Exquisito CigarI love the Partagas Black and anyone that spends five minutes on my blog can tell I enjoy cigars with a Cameroon wrapper. I found the Partagas Series S Exquisito to be unimpressive though. I couldn’t get enough flavor out of this cigar to even tell what I was tasting besides maybe a bit of paper. Construction was great but honestly what good is a well made cigar if it doesn’t taste like anything? Rating 3 out of 10.

Ouch! That’s too bad since it’s a nice looking stick. But I have to admit that the last Dominican Partagas I smoked tasted like cardboard. It was a freebie from JR Cigars, but still… just say NO to cardboard.

It is kind of like Bud Light or Miller Light. Remove all taste so it offends no one.
