Pickle Juice Martini
By Jesse | August 13, 2007 |
Kaori was upset when there were no pickles left, but that didn’t stop her. I think she gets her weird tastes from her mother…

For the record, I never craved pickles and ice cream while pregnant….

I used to dig pickle brine when I was kid too. I don’t think I could get away with drinking it straight anymore, though!

Hey Jo! Nice to see you here. :) How about having your cute niece(s..and nephew) over for an overnight sometime. Just be sure to stock some pickles. XD

I was just thinking, if you mixed it with Vodka, you’d have a drink I’m christening (this very moment) the “Christina Aguilera”. Why? Because it’s beyond a dirty martini it’d a dirrrty martini! (Though probably not a good drink for the little ones. Unless it’s nap time and they won’t go to sleep!)

Bah! You need Gin in a martini. I’ve been actually contemplating how a Martini with a touch of pickle juice would taste. I bet it would be similar to a Dirty Martini.

Good point, a gin martini would be dirrrty-ier than a vodka one. I’m thinking it would actually be a pretty tasty martini. You should try it and let us know!

Good idea, Jesse and Denise. Start the kids out young with their Pickle Juice Martinis. Soon, you’ll have Isabell screaming, “There’s not enough d*mn olives in my dirty martini, someone help me out here!” HAHA. By the way, my step-daughter is now a certified babysitter and has already had quite a few gigs… so, if me and Deb can ever get you two crazy kids outta the house at the same time for awhile, let us know! ;-0
