Comment Policy

By Jesse | August 30, 2007 |

Here is the policy for comments left on CigarJack.net.

  1. I want comments! This is the reason I turned off registration to make it as easy as possible for people to post comments. I want this site to be as interactive as possible and enjoy everyones feedback, thoughts and ideas.
  2. 1st Comments are moderated. Your first comment on this site require my approval so please be patient. I do this to cut down on spam and obvious trolls.
  3. Jerks and Politics will be deleted. I don’t mind being criticized, but if you are being rude and disrespectful I will delete it. You can tell me if I screwed up or you don’t agree with me without resorting to 6th grade name calling. Also, this isn’t a political site the only politics I’ll discuss are those relating to cigars and anti-smoking campaigns. Both parties are taking turns crapping on anyone who wants to smoke so we need to work together on these issues. I’ll call out Republicans and Democrats when needed.
  4. Links must relate to the content. I don’t mind links and encourage them when they pertain to the post. Links not relating to the content will be removed.
  5. I will delete anything I consider inappropriate. If you wouldn’t want your mom reading it don’t post it.
  6. Comment policy is subject to change. I will add or remove items from this policy as I see fit.

Surprised that “nofollow” is off. You seem to be a real problogger :) I think I might do the same on my blog..

That’s why I’m picky about what links people post. :) I’m trying to be as professional as possible. I have just as many blogs about blogging as I do about cigars.
