I’ve started smoking cigars last year and have been enjoying it immensely.

A friend of mine had purchased an old Acid cigar box because he liked how it looked. While at the local cigar shop, I saw they sold the cigars, so I bought one and tried it.

IMO: Blech! It was WAAAYYY too sweet for me. The flavored tip was sickly-sweet, and the aroma was too much like incense. It’s really popular with college students around here, apparently. It reminds me of a step up from clove cigarettes.

BUT, if sweet is what you’re looking for, well, look no further. ;-)

lol Yup, you gotta start watching that author now. ^_^ But if it’s any consolation, you’re not the only one who’s made that mistake.

And you know, I can’t remember if I smoked a Moontrance, or an Eileen’s Dream. I don’t know if they gave us both. Whichever one I did smoke though, it was good. I’ve had both before, but it’s been awhile. Again, they’ll be reviewed at some point in the future. :) I’m currently out of all CAO’s and Acid’s so I’ll have to have Jess pick some more up next time he’s down there.

Hey Denise!

You know, I didn’t even look at the author of the post! It’s very cool that you’re also contributing reviews to the website, and even cooler that you’ve really gotten into cigars. (Even if they’re infused ones! You know there are people out there that want to know about ‘em.) Jesse’s gotta love that.

Did you get a chance to smoke the Moontrance they gave out at the CAO party? I remember smoking the cigarillo size years and years ago, but I haven’t gotten to the ones I got at the show yet.

Hey Brian. :) If you haven’t noticed yet, I’m kind of the resident ‘flavored/infused’ reviewer here at Cigar Jack’s. I suppose that’s because they were my starting cigars when I first began smoking. While I do plan on reviewed ‘nons’ at some point also, I figure this will probably be my main niche here for awhile seeing as we want to appeal to as much as the cigar smoking community as possible. Also, flavors/infused seem to be considered ‘not very manly’ so it kind of just fell to me to do so. Heehee.

Anyway, I have yet to try the Nasty cigar. There are still a few of them I haven’t gotten to, but I’ll hopefully have a review up of each of them at some point in time since Acid seems to be one of the more popular brands of flavors currently out there. I’ll keep you posted. :)

It sounds intriguing! And I’m really glad to see I’m not the only one out there reviewing the occasional “botanical” or “infused” cigar! :) Though to be honest, I haven’t come across one that I can see myself smoking regularly yet.

How does this compare to the Nasty (or am I thinking of the Nefasto)? I haven’t tried either, but I’ve been thinking about trying one. I’ve heard they also have notable cocoa flavors.

I used to smoke cigarettes also, but quit those before I picked up cigars. Smoking cigars isn’t nearly as addictive and they taste and smell so much better. :)

i have quit smoking for three days and reading your blog reminds me to quit on quitting.OMG! cant wait to form circles in the air.
