We met him in Santiago and he certainly takes the time to talk cigars. You should get in touch with him as he is very proud of his cigars and does provide that personal touch that is missing with some.

Definitely some quality cigars, I've been meaning to get in touch with Gene. I heard he's a great guy.

To add to the Arganese reviews, I agree with the positive comments regarding the Maduro Presidente Robusto. After trying it this will be one of my regular weekend smokes. In addition, upon meeting Gene Arganese he was kind enough to provide samples of his Double Wrapper and the Maduro Presidente Figurado. These cigars brought a smile to my face and I can only hope that more smokers discover these fine cigars. The quality comes through.

Jesse- I too have been impressed with the Arganese cigars that I've tried so far. We'll have a review of up in the next few weeks.

By the way, how about that Gene Arganese? He just wanted to find a cigar maker to make his own private line and he ended up buying a Dominican factory and starting his own cigar company.

Today, we've got a contest to win 3 cigar sampler packs of Arganese Cigars.

So for those who don't win your contest, they can come try their luck at ours!

They do have some good cigars and I hope they succeed. I have not seen these cigars at any online retailers, just Brick and Mortar. Their B&M presence is fairly large though at least judging by the map on their site.

Great review. I still haven't tried anything from Arganese yet, but that's going to change soon.

I've been hearing a lot about the company in the past few weeks. Looks like the Arganese marketing team is working overtime to establish a brand.
