What Did You Smoke This Weekend?

by Jesse on October 29, 2007

I had a chance to smoke quite a few cigars this weekend, but didn’t really get a chance to write a review. The greatest part of this weekend was going over to my Sister-in-law’s Halloween party and cracking open the travel humidor and making some new friends over some great cigars.

Anyway this is what I had this weekend, what did you smoke?

  • EO 601 Oscuro: Surprisingly smooth for such a full flavored smoke. This cigar has become one of my new favorites.
  • CAO Italia: I enjoy this cigar with a cup of coffee, but lately it just seems to be missing something. I’ve got a partial review of this one written that should be finished in the next week or so.
  • Palmas Puro Maduro: My new go to small cigar is the Petit Corona of this line. It packs a ton of flavor in a small cigar.
  • Aurora 100 Anos: A pretty good smoke, but I was a bit underwhelmed.

Relatively slow stogie weekend for me, Jesse. The last five going back to TH PM:

Saint Luis Rey Serie A
FP Habano 98 Robusto
Tatuaje Havana VI Victorias
San Cristobal Classico
Hoyo de Tradicion Epicure

Most impressive award goes to the SLR Serie A. Phenomenal stick. Least impressive was the Hoyo. Not bad, just ordinary.

I haven’t tried the SLR Serie A yet, but I’ve been hearing good things about it.
