I agree with the negative about the cracking wrapper. This cigar does have a nice stinky pre-light aroma. However, the wrappers are extremely thin. You must keep these cigars very moist or the wrappers will crack and split. Not recommended.

I would highly recommend this. This is one of the perfect cigar that is currently available in the market. Seriously you will never regret it.

Just smoked one, came out of a 72% humi, the whole city is a warm damp swamp at the moment after a one in 10 year rain storm here. The cigar smoked beautifully quite damp so had no wrapper or burn problems. This review did hit the nail on the head. Typical Padilla spicy start then mellowed. Nice toasted nut flavours in final third, walnut/toasted sesame flavour excellent finish as usual with the Padilla – all the best from oz.

Nice Review cigar Jack.

Actually, I am smoking Padilla 1948 Robusto as I type. I love it, it has a nice creamy -mild flavor. Good draw with peppery artifacts which remain on the pellet. I ordered this a week ago from cigar.com. Unfortunately i didnt check it for freshness when i received it. For some reason the wrapper from the smoking end flaked as i made my cut.

A must. Highly Recommended!
