Description: The Tatuaje Noelles received a “92” rating and “2006 Cigar of the Year” by Cigar Aficionado. I am in love with this cigar! Heck, with the entire line! What a gorgeous stick! The wrapper has a cinnamon sheen that practically glows under light. The construction is absolutely perfect! Tis a shame to put it to the flame,,, nah! Pretlit flavors of wood and leather. Upon lighting, I was met with a full frontal attack of that woodsy leather and tobacco! I detected subtle hints of chocolate and coffee and these developed quite nicely. By the half-way mark, it turned into a full-bodied, full-flavored cigar. Very complex for such a small stick! I enjoyed the spiciness it picked up during the last third. I can’t quite figure it out, as it stayed in the background. But, wow, did it compliment all the other flavors. Smoked it all the way down….

This cigar produced a lot of smoke for its size. No problems at all with the burn! About 30 minutes worth….

Verdict: You have to try this cigar! If not this one, grab yourself any of the Tatuaje’s that are coming out! My box of Noelles is quickly disappearing!

Similar Cigars: I’m not sure what I would compare this to. Perhaps a RP Edge, though I found those a bit harsh at the get go. I was just as satisfying at the beginning of the Noelles as I was at the end!

One of my favorites as well and second only to the Havana Cazadores as far as the regular Brown label line goes in my book. The smaller ring gauges like the Cazadores and Noellas reveal the quality and complexity of the blend. You can’t hide a mediocre blend in a bunch of bland filler in a smaller ring gauge.I have tried a lot of Pepin’s smokes and in my opinion he is yet to make anything that tops the original Tatuaje line. Nice Review Jeff.

I’ll have to try more Tat’s. I’ve been extremely happy with the Don Pepin Blue Labels and the 601 Blends, that Garcia is blending.
