Habana Leon Robusto Cigar Review

One of the more prominent teams in Cuban history, the Habana Leones, were nicknamed the “Rojos”, or “reds” by their fans. The red theme is carried over to this all new cigar named for the famous baseball team. Habana Leon uses a very strong and full bodied blend. The filler is 70% Ligero tobacco, wrapped in a Nicaraguan grown binder. It is topped off by a Nicaraguan grown reddish-brown corojo wrapper from a 2000 crop. A red and gold label top off this full bodied masterpiece made in Miami, FL by Pepin Garcia.

La Aroma de Cuba Cigar Review

The cigars I purchased looked and felt good, but once I lit them up, I found that both were actually quite difficult to draw, which surprised me a bit. (I used a punch for one and my cutter for the other.) Also, I found the cigars burned a bit unevenly, which normally wouldn’t bother me, but it made the cigars a bit unstable.

Puros Indios Viejo Rothschild Cigar Review

The Puros Indios Viejo uses 1999 vintage tobacco and, once rolled, is aged four years. Originally the blend contained Jamaican tobacco, but with the decline in the Jamaican tobacco industry it has been replaced by Nicaraguan tobacco. Puros Indios Cigars are known for their unique flavor profile that seems to polarize most cigar smokers I know.

Tatuaje Noelles Cigar Review

The Tatuaje Noelles received a “92” rating and “2006 Cigar of the Year” by Cigar Aficionado. I am in love with this cigar! Heck, with the entire line! What a gorgeous stick! The wrapper has a cinnamon sheen that practically glows under light.
