Another weekly roundup on smoking bans: Wisconsin’s Smoking Ban is set to hit the legislature in 2008. The Smoking Ban in Illinois goes into effect on January 1st. Nice Guys Cigars Smoke Notes

Chris Alberti, the owner of Nice Guys Cigar Emporium in Rochester, NY set out to create his own brand for his shop and not satisfied with third party offerings, he set out to the Dominican Republic to have a hand in perfecting the blends himself. I came across these cigars through Egars.com and they offered some up to me to review and another five pack to give away as part of December’s Contest.

Primos Criollo Toro Cigar Review

December 24, 2007

The wrapper was veiny but had a nice oily sheen with a reddish hue to it. The construction was a little softer than some, but not undesirable. The burn on one I smoked did give me some trouble, but the rest were good. I did notice the ash is a bit loose and could drop off pretty easily.
