Best cigar moment took place on December 1st, as I attended my first herf at the Tobacco Haus in New Braunfels, Texas. The “Hill Country Herf” brought 10 people total together for drinks, cigars, and great conversation and pictures.
I had an excellent time and met some great people!

It was about 12am and everyone else was sleeping, so I couldn’t fire up the computer. I decided to go outside for a smoke. A friend had been talking up his favorite cigars and I happened to have them in my humidor, soooo…
I went outside and the sky was crystal clear. One of those nights where you think you can see every star in the sky. I had never smoked by myself before, and I was worried I might get bored. Not a chance. I saw three or four shooting stars, and got to relax in the quiet. It’s one of the more enjoyable 75 minutes I’ve had recently. The cigar was very nice too.

Thanks for the awesome contest!!
I am having an awesome moment right now smoking the 601 Maduro I got from your previous contest here.
Wow, this is such a great smoke; I’ve been really into the 601 brand after I tried this one.
Thanks again for introducing me to an awesome line of cigars and for keeping up with the generous contests!!

The best moment I had was @ 3yrs ago on my first cruise with my wife. Sitting on the porch of our suite and having the moon follow us. The beauty of the ocean illuminated by the moon gave a sense of calm and utter relaxation. The Perdomo Champagne F on my right and my wife on my left. What a great trip!

My best cigar moment was this. I was taking a walk around my neighborhood smoking a cigar and a kid from my senior class(we had just graduated) was coming out of his house. He said hey and noticed I was smoking a cigar, which is the same reason he came outside. so we sat on his porch and enjoyed our cigars. We’ve done that once a week ever since then and are now best friends. It’s amazing how cigars can bring you together.

The best moment I had was News Years Eve 2005 with my girlfriend. We had just finished have a great dinner, Hugos Cellar in Las Vegas, and headed to the Chicago Brewing Company on Freemont Street. I had been saving some CAO Criollio for about 2 years and we decided to smoke them for New Years Eve. They were wonderful cigars. It was a great way to spend our first New Years in Las Vegas.

The best cigar moment for me was when I went to Chicago for the first time. Me and 3 guys decided to walk down the streets of Chicago in 28 degrees and we all lit up cigars to keep us warm. Everyone we passed complemented us on our cigars. It was a great smoking experience for all of us which spawned the purchases of humidors and Arturo Fuente cigars. This experience brought us all closer together and has created a weekly cigar night.

Best cigar moment came this past September on vacation in Nevis, West Indies. After a day of golf and relaxation (two separate events), I had a wonderful seaside meal and smoked a wonderful Cohiba Siglo VI and a glass of local rum as the sun set over the Caribbean.

My best Cigar memory is sharing cigars with friends who were deploying. It became a tradition that when one of my friends was being sent out we got together, smoked some cigars, laughed and had a good time with it all.
I cherish each and every one of those gatherings

In addition to working full time, and having a family, I’m also studying for another engineering degree. A couple weeks ago, I had a particularly thorny mathematical proof to do, so I took the proof, and a few stout stogies into the study.
Working at the whiteboard, cigar in one hand and marker in the other, I spent the next couple days grinding out the proof. It was great, not only the sense accomplishment, but the ease the cigars lent to the enterprise. I’d be writing something out, then stand back and puff for a couple minutes, then jump right back into the breech.
I felt like Einstein, puffing away while juggling terms and symbols, identities and theorems.

One evening in November after a tough day at work and home, everyone else had fallen asleep. I decided to make the most of it and poured myself a rum and coke, slipped in to my bathing suit, grabbed my cutter and a lighter from the humidor as well as one of the Cohiba’s I brought back from the islands and made my way out to the hot tub.
I turned on the xm radio and wireless speakers so I’d have some light music out side (My favorite channel changes regularly when I’m in the hot tub) and proceeded to enjoy a rather good cigar and drink while boiling my troubles away under a full moon.
THAT was a good evening.
