Smoking Ban Updates
By Jesse | December 16, 2007 |
Just a few of the many news items I found this week on Smoking Bans:
- The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce is pushing for a statewide smoking ban. Please, haven’t these idiots seen the boom in business the bars in the area are seeing from Ohio’s Smoking Ban as people head across the river to play?
- The Republican controlled Michigan State Senate defeated a smoking ban passed by the House.
- Republican Councilman David Wilde is requesting an outdoor public smoking ban in Salt Lake City. Yeah both parties are guilty of attacking us, so we can’t blame just one party or the other in this fight.
- Munich is enacting a strict smoking ban that is upsetting many Oktobefest Beer Vendors by banning smoking in the indoor beer gardens.

Thanks, somehow I’d missed that in this round up. I saw my RSS Reader just caught about 10 stories on the Illinois Smoking Ban.
