Description: This is why I enjoy the packages from Tex Cigars each month, I never know what I’m going to get. In fact even though I’d heard of Los Blancos line until I had them in my hand. I’ve heard good things about Los I’d not heard of the PrimosBlancos, so I was eager to give this cigar a try.
The wrapper was veiny but had a nice oily sheen with a reddish hue to it. The construction was a little softer than some, but not undesirable. The burn on one I smoked did give me some trouble, but the rest were good. I did notice the ash is a bit loose and could drop off pretty easily.
Flavor wise the cigar was very enjoyable especially for an inexpensive bundle cigar. The cigar had a nice nutty flavor with some woodiness to start out, very smooth and easy to smoke. About the halfway point the cigar picked up some hard to place spices, that kind of reminded me of aPuros Indios.
Verdict: Besides a couple burn issues this is great inexpensive cigar. The Los Blancos site calls it full bodied smoke, I’m more inclined to call it Medium to Medium-Full.
Similar Cigars: As I mentioned in the review it reminded me a bit of Puros Indios Cigars, if you want something a bit milder take a look at the Casada Toro.

Another good choice for a under $3 smoke.

Definitely! Also they’d be a great hand out cigar I think. Even though I’m at the point now where I’m may just stick with handing out the mildest thing I can find. I gave a CAO Gold to a friend of a friend at a party the other night. He put it out after 10 minutes claiming it was too strong. He is a cigarette smoker so I’m wondering if he was inhaling.

The Primos cigars are great for just smokin’ while working outside or BBQing. It’s funny how much stuff I run into that’s cheap and good. I guess being in the business and networking with all these other cigar shops has its benefits :-) I’m always getting something new (and cheap).
Man, a CAO gold too strong?? Cigarette smokers have so much to learn :-)

That is funny, I had my nieces boyfriend over Saturday night for my sides Christmas party and gave him a Torano Signature and inhaled it all the way down. I thought he was going to get sick and I told him to try not inhale.

Most of those cigarette smokers just don’t know how to enjoy a good smoke. :)
