I agree with Matt, Jesse. 20-30 minutes is far too long. I’d try to keep it to 3-5 minutes.

I’m with Matt on this one since I listen most of the time on my computer. I don’t think I have ever made it through a full podcast that was over 10 minutes besides when I’m on a flight. Good luck with what ever you do Jesse, looking forward to them.

Matt, how do you typically listen to your podcasts? At the computer or on an MP3 Player?

This is just one man’s opinion, but there’s nothing short about a 20 or 30 minute podcast. Personally, I never make it through them. There are some good podcasts and videos out there, but I would prefer them to be shorter. I just can’t and won’t devote 30 minutes to it. Some sites do video reviews of cigars which is a neat idea but they are always too long. I think 5-10 minutes of good, focused discussion or an interview is great but a half hour is too long for internet content. Even 10 minutes is starting to push it a bit for me. That’s my $.02

I like the idea. There are plenty of cigar review podcasts, some of which TOUCH on cigar education, but it would be nice to have one DEDICATED to cigar education with a touch on a cigar of the week, which, of course, would would exemplify the main education point (i.e. have a Connecticut shade wrapper).
