Maybe instead of specific cigars, you could hit on a couple of topics that might take some research to nail, but would be very informative:

1) Have any of the November candidates exposed their stances on the whole SCHIP program? Aside from abortion, that would be #1 for me in who I would possibly vote for. Keep the guy or chick out who's ready to sign that thing.

2) A local cigar shop here told me recently that some states actually require any normal guy buying cigars out of state or online to actually claim that purchase and pay that state cigar tax he's importing them to. If governments start going after individuals who buy online to avoid state taxes, there are going to be some awfully screwed people out there who have spent hundreds or thousands online and will owe some serious ass raping back taxes to their state. This guy claims a customer of his got hit and now owes Minnesota some $8000 and they can go back five years!!!

3) Why is Nicaragua suddenly the darling of new smokes? I'm not arguing..they probably have the best flavor of any growing region and maybe even beat out Cuba. But has the political climate there finally stabilized enough to lure in growers and producers? I know in the 90's and certainly the 80's, folks would set up shop and then be forced to leave or their warehouses would be burned down by political unrest, etc. and that's why companies shyed away from it. Things must have changed dramatically in the last five years or so to have all these new cigars coming out of there at a feverish pace.

No mention of any pre-releases yet but maybe I can twist some arms, beg, plead or resort to a mission impossible style break in to get some. Brian do you still have that harness to lower someone through and air duct. Not that an air duct could hold the two of use crawling through it.

I'd like to see you review that 10 year anniversary Camacho corojo is see in the banner ad. (Triple corojo? That sounds spicy!) I know they're not out yet, but maybe Camacho has hooked you up with a pre-release?

Fair point, Jesse. Still, I think people realize that reviews are subjective, so I don't think it would be a big deal to do the sort of thing Creekend suggested. Worst case scenario, you make it clear that the reviews are only your own opinions.

@Creekend UK and Adam

That could a tough one, tastes a very subjective. Heck many people probably don't agree with my strength/body ratings. A good example of this is the Chateau Real, this is one of my go to morning cigars, but my wife finds it a bit too intense for early in the morning. I'll definitely put some thought into it. Maybe make them some poll questions. I haven't done those in awhile.

I like CreekEnd UK's idea a lot. That would be something I'd definitely like to see.

How about creating cigar catogories for morning,dinner and evening cigars then compare a couple for each section.

I know its been done before but sometimes I struggle to get the flavour as opposed to the strength right - especially when smoking outside as opposed to inside where there is no wind to alter the burn etc.

I know you've reviewed some already, but anything in the CAO line would be good to read about, especially the MX2.

It'd be nice to see some Cubans reviewed, but I realize that's not exactly possible unless you outsource the reviews of those sticks to someone in Canada or the UK (or anywhere else, I suppose).

But, really, just keep doing what you're doing. I like discovering new cigars from your reviews.
