Monday, January 28th, 2008The Verocu No. 1 is “Exclusivo Lado Occidential” (Exclusive to the Western Side), a limited regional release exclusive to the West Coat. By sheer luck I stumbled across one at a reasonable price, and then I was hit with a little more luck and was told by I could have it free. Granted, I was buying over $100 in other cigars.

Troya Clasico XVIII Cigar Review

That’s one of fun things about running this site, going into my humidor I’m always finding something I didn’t know I had or where it came from. Anyways this cigar was sent to me by Jon over at TinderBox, and is another Don Pepin blended cigar. Yeah, I know we mention his cigars quite a bit here, but the man has his hands in everything now days.
Camacho SLR Torpedo Cigar Review
Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008I got this cigar as part of a word of mouth promotion they are trying over at Social Cigar, Camacho’s new online cigar community. The cigar was very nice looking, and actually very dark for a natural wrapper. If hadn’t seen the nearly black SLR Maduro you could have told me this was the Maduro and I would have believed you. The wrapper had a little tooth on it and one bigger vein in it, but overall very well constructed. I checked the prelight draw and found it acceptable picking up some hints of leather and wood.
