Fidel Castro Resigns
By Jesse | February 19, 2008

You’ve probably already heard the news that Fidel Castro has resigned. So what exactly does this mean for cigars smokers longing to see the end of the Cuban Embargo? Not a damn thing.
Fidel’s little brother will be taking over in his place. He’s promising some economic reforms and is said to be interested interested in the Chinese Economic Model. Will we see enough reforms in order to see the Embargo lifted? My guess is no. I bet we are 5 to 10 years away from seeing any significant changes in USA-Cuba relations.

I hate you, Jesse. I was just about to write a post.
With several billion dollars in exports, China has certainly seen the benefits of an export economy. Perhaps Cuba will too!
