Gran Habano 3 Siglos Pyramid Cigar

This Gran Habano gets its name from the cigars use of ligero from three different countries. The filler is composed of Colombian, Costa Rican and Nicaraguan ligero. This Pyramid is a monster of a cigar with it’s 56 Ring Gauge and 6 1/8 inches. The cigar has a beautiful reddish brown wrapper and feels well constructed.

The 3 Siglos starts off nice reminding me of toasted walnuts and coffee. Something I really noticed about this cigar was the smoke, it had an enjoyable aroma I couldn’t quite place. Nearing the end of the first third the cigar started to pick up some black pepper that really come to the forefront as I continued to smoke it. At this point the coffee and the woody/nutty flavors of walnut took somewhat of a back seat. I could still pick them out, but the spiciness was definitely more dominate.

I had a beautiful burn on this cigar, it didn’t require a single touch up. The dark gray ash tended to tap off kind of easy so you may want to keep and eye on it while smoking. I set this cigar down with about an inch left wishing it was about three inches longer, I was really enjoying this smoke.

Verdict: Coming in at under $7 a stick this cigar is definitely going to be part of my regular rotation. It has a great flavor profile and isn’t overly strong.

Similar Cigars: Reminds me a bit of the Camacho SLR Natural, but doesn’t have as much strength.

The Siglos 3 is one of my “go to” smokes. I haven’t tried the torpedo but the Gran Robusto (6 x 54) and Gran Corona (6 x 44) are good smokes.

I was very impressed with this cigar. I haven’t had one in awhile but this cigar is very tasty, smooth, and creamy. Nice review, Jesse.

I had the Gran Corona in this line 6 x 46

A lot of flavors, nutty, high and woody and baking spicy (Not really cinnamon/nutmeg, but to oppose it to spicy-pepperry). No black pepper in this for me.

Complex in that there is a run of flavors coming at you in different ways. Fresh and spicy aroma good burn.

Smoke the Gran Habana 3 Siglos almost anytime, maybe not with your morning cuppa joe, but other than that. Probably real nice after dinner.
