Well I've smoked all the sizes of the Maduro and ALL OF THEM had burn issues, but with that being said I thought that the Belicoso was better than the others so for S&G's (s..t's and giggles) I bought a few because 1 of the local Tobbacconist in my area in my area (Tampa Bay,Fl) was blowing them out @ $2.00 bucks a stick but it's still a less than average stick

It was nice to know I wasn't the only one having burn issues with this cigar. unfortunately I purchased a whole box of the Primos at a Los Blancos promotional function that was held at my local (San Antonio, TX) cigar lounge. After a cordial face to face with the vendor and his assurances of quality manufacturing I was anxious to sample these cigars. I am sad to report that these have easily ranked as THE worst smokes in my entire smoking experience (over 30 years). I have 2 left and to date only 1 has even come close to burning and resembling any cigar of character. The burn on this cigar is without a doubt one of the most FRUSTRATING and stressing of all- the taste, while noteworthy, definitely does NOT support the price they are asking. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this choice...

Having one of the toro's now. I don't have any burn issues and I agree this is similar to the Perdomo maduro. I also agree it is not as sweet. We pretty much agree across the board on this cigar. Check out my blog for my review.

I reviewed the Criollo, it is not as sexy as the maduro but still a good cheap smoke.

I'm definitely trying more of them as well. I have a couple sitting in my humidor right now, along with two of the Primos Criollo. I still have to try the Los Blancos Premiere Selection lines.

I remember this being a decent smoke for a bargain price. I would definitely try a couple more, I did not have the burn issue that you did.
