March 23rd 2008 huh? Wow!!! I am smoking one right now, fresh out of the celophane. It is 2010. I am about to the last third now & I have noticed no unpleasant change. I was on light up a little disapointing but came out of it after about the first 1/2 inch or so and kept getting better so far. The prices you quoted peeked my interest so I found out when this was written. I buy from a place that has very reasonable prices, I see you had the 5X50 Robusto, I am smokung the 7.25 X 50 Churchill. (I know that length & ring guage can make a big difference on a cigars traits and characteristics.)But the price for a box(Which comes in 18 per box, not sure if they changed that or you misstated.)for $112 a box. I got mine as part of a sampler for a lot cheaper than that. Well I am to the band and it has changed some but it not at all unpleasant yet.

Just my 2 cents worth. B.T.W. you gave a REALLY great review.

Sincerely, Sam

I must say, after reading a few reviews on this stick, I was less than enthusiastic about lighting it up. The first third was much as I expected, but then a strong note of sugar cane kicked in. It was not a overwhelming sweetness, but a subtle, sweet sugar cane continued through the second third, and the white ash clung for about half of the length. In the final third, the sweetness turned to a molasses note. I enjoyed the smoke very much, and would reccomend it for at least one smoke. it was a quick but very pleasant stick.
