Since I don’t typically post anything on Sunday I thought I’d try a new feature. Each Sunday I’ll ask some stupid cigar related question just for the heck of it. Leave your answers in the comments, and if you think you have a question that is stupid enough to go here use the contact form to submit it.
Today’s Question:
You are on a sinking cargo ship heading to Miami bringing in a shipment of cigars and alcohol. As you get ready to jump in a life boat you have time to grab 2 boxes of cigars and 2 bottles of alcohol. What would you take to enjoy as you wait for rescue?

My choice… Fuente Chateau Maduros, and a couple of bottles of a Spanish Rioja Grand Reserva. I’ve never found a better pairing. The spicy notes of both the wine and the cigar compliment each other perfectly.
Cohiba Siglo VI (if I can’t find them I’ll settle for the Esplendos) and Lagavulin Distillers Edition … no variety needed. In fact, I may enjoy the wait. The only regret would be that I wouldn’t have some nice expresso and the company of a good friend to enjoy the time with.
I’d grab a box of Anejo 55′s, and any decent bourbon.
A lighter and perhaps some matches would help!
Always first things first.
Carl
1 box Padron 1964 Anv,
1 box San Cristobal
1 bottle Bookers Bourbon
1 bottle Silver Oak Cab. Sav.
and a pocket full of killer beans!
Im grabbing a box of Padron Anniversary 1964s and a box of Ashton VSG torpedos then for alcohol, I would grab any Spanish Red and a bottle of Godiva white chocolate liqueur.
2 boxes RP edge battalions+2 bottles of bookers bourbon(good stuff!)
I’d toss as many bottles of rum over the side as I could. That doesn’t count as “taking” any of them.
I’d then hop into the boat and rescue as many of them as bobbed by the boat. I’d pass the bottles around freely. Once everyone was drunk and agreeable, I’d start bumming cigars.
After all, its better to have liquor and no cigars than to have cigars and no liquor
