I Told You So!

I remember awhile back mentioning that as the tax revenues from tobacco started to dry up because of the smoking bans, that states would start eyeing other vices to tax to death. Well guess what beer drinkers! The State of California has decided that you are not paying your share. A proposed tax increase on beer was just introduced.
This quote says it all:
"The people who use alcohol should pay for part of the cost to society, just like we’ve accepted that concept with tobacco," Beall said.
Now the chances of this actually be passed by voters is probably slim, but this is just the start of it.

California sucks when it comes to stuff like this. I was raised there and moved out as an adult. I miss the weather and the cornucopia of huge fake breasts, the rest can suck it.
