I wrote about Absolut’s stupid ad they ran awhile back. Well American made SKYY Vodka responded with a press release.
Today, SKYY® Vodka, the number-one vodka produced in the United States, spoke out against suggestions by Absolut® Vodka to disregard that treaty, as well as the joining of Texas to the Union in 1845, as depicted in Absolut’s recent advertising.
I didn’t drink Absolut all that much to begin with, but I’m definitely picking up a bottle of SKYY Vodka next time I’m in need of some.

I am a Three Olives man but will pick up Skyy if it is on sale. I don’t think you will be disappointed as it is a very good, high quality vodka.
