The Boxed-Pressed Maduros are horrid. I’ve yet to get one that I can draw at all. Way too tight.

I purchased 3 of the square pressed cigars and it was like trying to suck a basketball through a garden hose.These must have been made for hookers to smoke

It is a good smoke!It was pretty good,start to finish!At first,i thought it was going to be overpowering,but mellowed down right fast.I’ll definitely keep some in the humidor!

I like the Gispert natural and maduro’s. A great smoke for the price….I think someone screwed up with the pricepoint because these could go for a few dollars more and no one would be the wiser. Plain English…a good smoke!

I tend to alternate this cigar with an Alec Bradley Occidental REserve which to my pallette are similar and can be smoked outside in this unpredictable UK weather.

Keep up your excellent reviews as your take on which cigars and the flavours you identify are far more professional than I could do.

Whether golfing or going fishing this is my favorite cigar for those activities. Just a great cigar for the money, and I don’t mind letting my buddies have one.They do tend to be a little soft.Gispert and La Unica are my everyday smokes.

I had a couple of the Churchills and they were just as good. This cigar took me a few tries to pick out the flavors. It is surprisingly complex for an inexpensive cigar.

Now i know I’m an excentric Brit but when i saw this favourite of mine on the RSS feed at my Google Reader I was jumping up n down like a nutter.

Some would say I’m a wine expert who prefers a fine cigar to wine, but when i read your description of the flavours on this Gispert I found myself envious that I just dont have the ability to describe cigars or maybe the tastebuds to have written what you have here.

Its brilliant and so are these Gisperts. They are cheap and really good tasting. I have many of them in a larger size plus their darker maduro cousins.
