Cigar News Items for June 04, 2008
By Jesse | June 4, 2008 |
No review today, I got a new laptop and have been slowly going through the hoops of getting used to a new OS and loading all my software.
I do have a couple of news items that I thought were of interest. We should be seeing some interesting stuff starting to pop up in the news now that the IPCPR Trade Show is just around the corner.
Dion Giolito, the man behind Illusione Cigars is coming out with a new blend this year called the Cruzado. It will be a milder blend featuring viso tobacco instead of ligero, which is used in the Illusione.
This is a pretty big deal and while I’d heard talk about it, I didn’t get my hopes up. Some of the big names in the industry are getting together to form a new cigar consumer rights organization. The group is call the Cigar Rights of America and the site should be going live by the end of the week. I read about this on the Cigar Aficionado Blog and reached out to Dylan at Camacho who said he should have some more details about this organization for me soon.
If you're new here, you may want to check out the Cigar Review Index or subscribe to get updates through RSS or Email. Thanks for visiting!

Nope, I ended up going with an HP. Sadly this is the first time I’ve truly been able to use Vista.
