Final Wrap Up from the IPCPR
By Jesse | July 19, 2008 |
I got back home late yesterday and just finally got a chance to sit down at the computer to wrap up a few things. I don’t have too much news to add but I did find these things interesting.
Miami Cigar Company will be introducing a cigar later this year or early next year for their anniversary. Jose Blanco and Don Pepin Garcia will be working on the blend together.
There are some rumors going around that both Rocky Patel and Torano might be getting bought. Torano doesn’t really surprise me, it looks like they’ve been preparing for it with the deal they have with CAO going on. Rocky Patel I’m not so sure about.

Rocky has been looking to leave the cigar business for about a year now, maybe longer. Ive had this rumor confirmed to me by various reps and cigar people.
Now if only I can turn all my connections into a rep job… but c’est la vie!
