Friday, August 29th, 2008Well it has been awhile since I’ve done a cigar links wrap up so I thought I’d resurrect it for one of my favorite new cigars to come out this year. Originally I got to try the Alec Bradley Tempus just before it was released and really enjoyed it. My local shop recently picked up the Tempus and I got a chance to try the Lancero.

Cigar Review: Kristoff Criollo Churchill
Tuesday, August 26th, 2008Daniel did a great job reviewing the Kristoff Criollo Churchill back in July so I’m only going to really touch briefly on this cigar.
This rustic looking cigar is very well made and has a nice heft to it. The draw started off a little tight, but opened up nicely in the first inch. The ash was a bit loose and I knocked it off on the table a couple of times.
Cigar Review: Dona Flor Selecao Robusto
Monday, August 25th, 2008Another Cigar I picked up while at the IPCPR Tradeshow in Las Vegas. This cigar has been on my must try again list ever since I’d gotten my hands on one over a year ago. The Selecao got a 92 rating in Cigar Aficionado so it could get even harder to find.
Cigar Review: Jameson Black Label
Friday, August 22nd, 2008I reviewed the original Jameson Red Label awhile back. While it was an enjoyable smoke, it was something I really had to be in the mood to smoke. Brad from Jameson Cigars and Luis Sanchez from La Tradicion Cubana reblended the Red Label and launched the Black Label at the IPCPR Trade Show. I’ll be hitting the newly reblended Red Label in the next couple of weeks. Right not I’m taking a look at the Brazilian wrappered Black Label.
