Interesting review. I too have one of these sitting around from the IPCPR that I've been meaning to smoke. I've been very impressed with the Don Flor cigars I've had before. One thing that I am a little unclear about is their various lines: How does the Selecao differ from the Reserva Especial? And where does the Alonso Menendez fit in? I was told that it was being re-branded as the Alonso Menendez by Dona Flor, but I haven't seen it. Jesse- any ideas?

I remember liking this one more than I did a previous sample I had. They only problem seems to be getting your hands on the things.

I agree completely with your review. I always have a hard time pinning down the exact tastes of Dona Flor Brazillian puros. I was relieved that quality did not suffer with the "New" Dona Flor factories. I'd even venture to say, the quality is a little better then before.
