CAO Announces ‘Rock n Rolled’ Event Tour

Typically I don’t publish too many press releases but I’m going to be attending the first one and will be sitting down with Jon Huber to talk about the tour.
Cutting-Edge Cigar Maker Sets Out To Bring Rock n Roll Attitude to a Series of In-Store Cigar Events
Nashville, September 23, 2008: CAO, one of the world’s foremost premium cigar manufacturers, announced today that it is embarking upon a nine-city U.S. tour of retail tobacco stores touted as the “CAO Rock N Rolled Tour.”
Each stop will feature special offers on CAO cigars (including a sneak preview of the forthcoming CAO Lx2 brand), limited edition ‘CAO Rock N Rolled’ apparel and accessories, and Special Guest CAO Director of Lifestyle Marketing Jon Huber. “The Rock N Roll ‘attitude,’ if you will, has always been part and parcel to the CAO brand image,” stated Huber.“We believe the whole concept of the retail tobacconist in-store event is growing tired and stale, and we want to interject some fun back into the equation. The ‘Rock N Rolled’ tour idea was born over after-hour drinks and cigars one night with our National Sales Manager, Frank Kapp. We basically played off the recent ‘CAO Rock N Rolled’ tattoo that I had done in May (featured in the summer issue of Cigar Press magazine). We just want to bring a little ‘rock’ to the genre of hand-‘rolled’ cigars.”
The “CAO Rock N Rolled Tour” will officially launch on October 7 at The Party Source in Bellevue, Kentucky, and will conclude in Londonderry, New Hampshire, on October 30, at Twins Smokeshop. For more information, please visit the ‘Events’ page found on caointernational.com.

EXCELLENT! We don’t get very many “real” events up in Cow Hampshire, but I will have to find my way over there on Oct. 30. Even better I’ll try and make it a point to get s post up on my site and drag some friends with me. Thanks for the heads up.

Theme song? Tobacco Road (hopefully Edgar Winter version).
