Description: Another new smoke to hit the scene! Another Don Pepin cigar I truly enjoyed! I was gifted this one a couple months ago at the trade show and totally forgot about it. So, I decided to light this one up for my drive to work. This is one good looking stick: Deep chocolate wrapper, with pronounced veins. A very solid, seamless smoke completely void of defect. What do you expect? It’s a Pepin!
Easy clip, perfect draw, giving me prelit draws of rich tobacco and spice. Upon lighting, flavors pepper and cedar! And that tobacco flavor was full and complex…. What a fantastic start!! Around the 1/3 mark, I began to detect coffee and cocoa flavors, as the pepper faded into the background. That full tobacco flavor never let up. Around the halfway mark, the coffee and cocoa became more leathery. I started detecting a sweetness that reminded me of cinnamon. There was something else that I just couldn’t figure out. All the flavors seemed to mesh together for a phenomenal ending! Very smooth!! Very creamy!!
I did set it down for about an hour. I finished it with a cup of black coffee. Nice combination! I had no problems with the burn. The cigar never got hot and the ash was solid and firm, and lot’s of steel-gray smoke! Full Flavor, Med-Full Strength.
Verdict: Another Pepin classic! A little more than an hour to smoke! I’ve got to get me some more of these!!
Similar Cigars: Hmmm. Pepin-made Padilla Miami’s!

I looks as though I’m just going to have to order some of these online. No one has them withing an hours drive of my house. Comparing it to a Padilla Miami is making me want one even more. Or two. Or three.

Good review. I have to give you credit for smoking this thing in the morning. My pallet would only be able to handle it after a nice dinner.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the space for a box split at the moment. But, I do think I’m going to order a 5 pack. Thanks for the link.
