One of the things I really start digging into during the winter is smaller cigars. This is when I typically end up reaching for Villiger Exports and anything in the petit corona size. The big issue with most cigars in a tin is that they don’t smoke nearly as well as the bigger sizes.
Micah at The Party Source let me know he’d just gotten in a few tins of the J. Fuego Minutos in the Corojo No. 1 and the Delirium so I thought I’d give these a shot and see how they stacked up.
Intense is the word I’d best use to describe these little spice bombs, at times almost a bit over powering. Tons of intense Corojo flavor and spice that masks some of the subtle flavors you’ll find in the larger sizes. While not as complex as the larger vitolas these Minutos are great full bodied quick smokes.
Verdict: Most of the tin packed versions of other brands seem to be milder and disappointing. I’m happy to have found these and they’ll be a staple all winter long. This is a great quick smoke for lovers of full flavored smokes. These are available at The Party Source, but you’ll need to call to order them. (1-866-78CIGAR)
