Planning on celebrating the actual holiday with a Padron 1926 40th Anniversary. I celebrated Thanksgiving early with my in-laws on Sunday and I had an Opus X Lancero after dinner then. Friends are coming over on Saturday and I’ll be having at least 3 stogies then, but probably the highlight of the evening will be a La Flor Dominicana Factory Press I. There will be others, I’m sure, but those are the top 3 that I am having for this holiday week.

Well, seeing as the real Thanksgiving was a month ago, I’ve already gone through this.*
Typically, I like to smoke something fuller bodied after eating a big ol’ turkey dinner. This year, I smoked a Cuban Punch Churchill. Normally, those bad boys knock me on my ass, but it was quite satisfying after eating a really big meal.
*Just a friendly Canadian vs. American Thanksgiving joke, for those who don’t know I’m Canadian. :p

I’m going to have a Diamond Crown Maximus. Never had one before. The Cigar shop was having a special if you buy 3 you get entered in a raffle to win a whole box of ‘em.

Jesse, I seem to be late to the dance so often and it has happened again. Recently I have discovered the Palmas Puros cigars that you reviewed favorably some time ago. What a nice find, so during this holiday break I will be diving into the two five packs(natural/maduro) I ordered. The only problem is that they have quit making them. At least that is what I have been told.
The celebratory cigar I intend to smoke is “The Frank” I was lucky enough to obtain from a new
acquaintance I have made.
What is Turkey Day without a great smoke….
…. even north of the border!!
Stay warm up there.

My favorite shop was open until noon Thanksgiving morning, so I picked up four La Flor Dominicanas (Coronado, Ligero, Limitada, Factory Press III), an Alec Bradley Tempus, Camacho Triple Maduro, Ashton San Cristobal, and (in complete contrast to all those other “spicy” ones) a Cabaiguan. After eating a big meal, the comparatively lighter weight but always satisfying Cabaiguan was the one I went to, and it hit the spot.
