I used to smoke this cigar all the time when it was originally released, but eventually I gave up on them. I just had too much trouble with the burn. Apparently I wasn’t the only one as Perdomo ended up discontinuing the line. Well they brought them back as a Limited Edition. I hope these aren’t too limited.
The Perdomo2 Maduro is a well constructed great looking cigar. Unlike the previous release I’ve had no burn issues with these.
The cigar has a nice cedar and earthy base, but I did pick up some coffee and cocoa flavors in background. There is a little bit of spice to it, nothing overpowering though.
Verdict: The previous release of the Perdomo Squared was a fantastic cigar, but suffered from burn issues. This new release is a fantastic cigar with none of the issues of the old. Well worth picking up a few.

Funny you mention the burn on those. I personally love the flavor or this yellow label and the red one (sorry. I have no idea what the difference between them is) but I too have had burn issues. Recently at that.
At first I thought that maybe I was just smoking them way too fast ( I do that sometimes) but even when I slow down I find that I have to touch them up to even them out once in awhile. Fortunately the problem isn’t as bad as the last several CAO Italias I have had but still a bit annoying.
The flavor is right on the money. A bit peppery especially near the end, but altogether a flavorful and dare I say masculine cigar.

PS. Have you tried the LOT 23? I am curious as to what others think of these? For the money I think they are damned good.

An excellent cigar. Strong and smooth tobacco flavor. No burn issues.
