Marco V Cigars is a new company making cigars in the Dominican Republic. All the cigars they make are 60 Ring and made in limited batches to keep the quality high. The cigars I was sent were the Platinum Label Grand Reserve a Medium-Full Bodied Cigar according to the website.
My Take:
The cigar burns well and fairly cool. The predominate flavor is a sweet chocolate with a cherry note to it, which I pick up in some of the Punch Cigars. There was a bit of a coffee flavor in the background, but the sweetness definitely dominated the cigar.
Verdict:
A very good cigar and affordable. Definitely worth giving this cigar a try, especially if you are a fan of General Cigar’s Punch Line. It isn’t available in many retail locations yet, but they do sell them directly on their website.

Marco V Cigars are a great value. This is a smooth and fairly light cigar – very enjoyable. I have not seen them in retail locations as yet. A friend of mine order them on line and it was a pretty easy transaction.

Whoa, no reviews for over a month? Everything OK at the Jack??
adh,
I should be getting back into regular posts here this week. Been very busy with work.
Yeah, the bills don’t pay themselves (tried it once, no luck) Good to see you back at the Jack.
I’ve been smoking MarcoVs for a year now, and its about all I smoke now. I alternate between the Platinum Grand (medium) and the Brazillian Grand (medium-full), both are a great value and a superb smoke!
