CigarChat Cigar Review: Partagas Benji Menendez

by Daniel on December 7, 2009

I've gathered a few tweet-reviews from tonight's #cigarchat event.

Partagas provided the sticks. We smoked the new Partagas Benji Menendez. (Thanks again to Partagas for sponsoring the chat!)

And now, the tweeted reviews:

1. in2xshp: nice smooth cigar, med pepper and that vanilla creamy thing we came up with, nice woodsy tones with a great burn. I'd buy more. (Link)

- in2xshp: const was spot on with mine, almost perfect burn it only went a lil off after the first ash but fixed itself quickly (Link)

2. cyberslate: Woodsy, earthy, solid. Evolves. Got some kick (pepper) and some sweet notes (vanilla). Good stuff (Link)

3. StaceBerkland: The Partagas Benji Menendez makes my personal top-10 list for 2009. (Link)

4. mikethebig1: Well made, interesting flavor 6/10 (Link)

5. knightrid: Pepper, woody, small amount of vanilla bean that @cyberslate & @in2xshp put a name to, medium body, maybe hitting low full at nub (Link)

6. lenkendall: 7 of 10 (Link)

7. thotful: It's a decent full bodied cigar but hasn't given my [palate] a lot of different flavor to work with. (Link)

Nice review. I’ve got a couple of these on the way, looking forward to trying them.

I really enjoyed the Benji, although, mine began to unravel toward the end. I’d still buy another though!
