Orient Automatic Watch Giveaway – Completed

by Jesse on July 28, 2010

CEM5J006U Orient Watch USA is giving away a free watch to one lucky Cigar Jack reader. Who doesn’t like a great watch? Orient Watch Ltd. recently celebrated their 60th Anniversary and is known for making all their movements in house. An automatic watch is self winding so as you move that sporty CTD0A001W winds itself. Being a bit of a geek, not knowing much about watches I find the whole idea pretty cool.

Orient Watch USA has quite a few beautiful and functional watches. I find myself rather partial to the CUT05006W which is part of their modern line of automatic watches.

The watch we are giving away today is the CEM5J006U and is the watch in the picture. This watch has a stainless steel case, screw caseback and is water resistant up to 50m.

I’ve always been intrigued by automatic watches, especially the ones by Orient Watch. My favorite has to be the CEZAE002B because of it’s style. Very beautiful watch! Form before function or is it function before form? With this watch, it doesn’t matter.

It’s tough: I really like the semi-skeleton racing watches, but if I had to choose *one* it would be CTD0T003D. I like all the info it provides (dials and dials and dials).

I haven’t worn a watch in years, opting for using the Blackberry as timepiece. Still, maybe it’s time to re-investigate fine watches, especially if it’s made in the USA. Sign me up!

thanks for the contest. ive got an Orient CEZ05001B (http://www.orientwatchusa.com/cez05001b-p-89.html) that ive had for about a year now. its awesome. the automatic movement is spot on, the only time i reset it is when daylight savings kicks in. also, its got a sapphire crystal on the face and on the display back. i really enjoy my timepiece.

That 2ER00001B is crazy hot! Also the pocket watch, CDD00001W, with a Matt Booth cutter on the other end of the chain would blow peoples mines.

Great blog! My favorite model is the 2ER00001B. I’m a sucker for the classic Rolex Submariner look. I also love the CTT00002B for a more original design, esp the orange colored hands.

Thanks for the contest!

The description says it all “This unique design is built to represent the individualism of 1950s motorcycles. The YFH03002B Orient Automatic is inspired by the modern technical feel of the watch and a classic industrial era.”

Love it!

My favorite watch is the Orient Black Mako diving watch, aka CEM65001B. Was highly recommended to me in the watchuseek.com and pmwf.com forums. I got it and love it.

Would love it if I won, hope I have a shot at adding another Orient watch to my collection.
