Regarding you question on “What price point makes me uncomfortable.” a really great question. For me I find that several factors come into play. The first is quantity. If I’m buying one or two sticks I’ve often paid in the high 20′s per stick. However for my box purchases I rely more on taste and enjoyment than price. I have not found a real correlation. For example I recently smoked a San Lotano Miami edition at the IPCPR and was so thrilled with it I went on line to find a place to buy a box. Now part way through the box, I find that at approximately $6.50 a stick I can smoke perfection. Why’ I ask myself would I pay more? And the only answer I can come up with is: To try a new smoke and compare it to this great cigar.
