Alec Bradley Tempus – Cigar Links Edition 19
Friday, August 29th, 2008Well it has been awhile since I’ve done a cigar links wrap up so I thought I’d resurrect it for one of my favorite new cigars to come out this year. Originally I got to try the Alec Bradley Tempus just before it was released and really enjoyed it. My local shop recently picked up the Tempus and I got a chance to try the Lancero.
Cigar Review: Alec Bradley MAXX Traditional Toro
Monday, June 2nd, 2008The Alec Bradley MAXX Traditional was created, because some customers liked the MAXX but not the massive ring gauge. The MAXX Traditional uses the same tobacco as the MAXX, but in a slightly different blend because of the smaller sizes. I’m glad to see this change, because I’m not typically a fan of larger ring gauge cigars.
Black Cat Cigar Co. Domincans No. 2 Cigar Review
Tuesday, April 1st, 2008The Philly-based Black Cat Cigar Co. seems to have a knack for nabbing blue-chip cigar blenders for its house brands. A few weeks ago, I reviewed the company’s Rey Miguel, a Pepin Garcia-made offering. Now, it’s time for the Black Cat Dominicans, a line made by Henke Kelner, blender and manufacturer for the famous Davidoff and AVO brands.
