Cigar Review: Romeo y Julieta 1875 Cedros Deluxe No 2
Tuesday, June 24th, 2008
I haven’t really had much of an opportunity to try out the Romeo Y Julieta line, which is odd considering how ubiquitous it is. But I recently had a birthday and one of the nice side effects of being known as a cigar smoker is that I have a tendency to get lots of cigars as gifts. This was a gift from my parents, and I was eager to try it out.
Cigar Review: Gispert Robusto
Wednesday, May 28th, 2008I’m always on the look out for a good inexpensive cigar, but tend to shy away from milder cigars from the bigger companies. They always seem to be lacking in taste. I found the Gispert tucked away in a corner of the bottom shelf at my local shop and since I was in the mood to try something mild I picked up five. That was a couple months ago, and while I haven’t picked up a box yet I pick up a few more on each trip.
Altadis U.S.A Website Review
Friday, April 18th, 2008I decided I’d go ahead and work through some of the bigger manufacturer sites and see how they are doing things. Altadis U.S.A. is one of the juggernauts of the cigar world producing brands like Gispert, H. Upmann, Monte Cristo, and Romeo y Julieta. So how does their website stack up?
Romeo y Julieta Habana Reseve Belicoso Cigar Review
Wednesday, January 9th, 2008The Romeo y Julieta Habana Reserve was released at the 2007 RTDA Trade Show. The cigar is absolutely gorgeous, I love the band and the oily wrapper. Construction is superb, a nice firmness with slightly resistant draw. Typically I try and stay away from the big name brands, but I couldn’t resist these and picked up two at The Party Source’s Cigar Tasting last night. Information is kinda sparse on this cigar yet, I gleaned some information from Gary’s Review on Cigar Advisor.
