My soldier can have his cigar and smoke it too.

March 23, 2008

Here is a contest entry from Maritza about her cigar smoking husband. I have silently watched my husband as he sits in the balcony smoking his cigar. He looks so calm, even though the spicy Cuban music is playing in his ears. I remember the days when he was in the army, always so stressed [...]

La Aurora Preferidos Cameroon Robusto Cigar Review

March 22, 2008

There is only one thing better than a quality smoke and that is a free quality smoke. My wife’s uncle (my uncle-in-law or however that works) slipped me a cigar last weekend that I have wanted to try, but never put forth the money for one. La Aurora Preferidos. Henry Clay Honduran Cigar Review

March 22, 2008

Scott Rauber submitted this as his entry in our Anniversary Bash Contest. He’s one a 5-Pack of Camacho Cigars and Hat along with a chance at winning the Grand Prize. What is it about cigar smoking? Just exactly what is it about a hand rolled stogie that captivates the partaker of the leaf? I believe [...]

Cuban Cohiba Pyramid 2006 EL Review

March 13, 2008

Lance Besore got his hands on this Cuban Beauty and submitted it as an entry for our Anniversary Contest. Prelight aroma of light tobacco, nice oily wrapper with a few small veins evident. Nice milk chocolate color. 1st 3rd: Very mellow and smooth with the typical Cohiba “grassy” flavor. The burn was slightly crooked at [...]
