Don Pepin Blue – Cigar Links Edition 11

April 5, 2008

Don Pepin Garcia Blue Label Cigars are rolled in Pepin Garcia’s Miami Factory, El Rey de los Habanos. Full bodied in strength and flavor it isn’t a cigar for the faint of heart. I originally wrote my Blue Label Generosos Cigar Review back in July of 2007 and this cigar is still a staple in my humidor.

Tatuaje Havana VI Cigar Review

March 29, 2008

Pete Johnson is a genius. There’s no doubt in my mind that Mr. Tattoo is by far one of the most smartest, talented and too smooth for his own good, cigar aficionados in the industry. Everything from naming to marketing his cigars, is in a league of its own.

Tatuaje Havana VI Verocu No. 1 Cigar Review

January 28, 2008

The Verocu No. 1 is “Exclusivo Lado Occidential” (Exclusive to the Western Side), a limited regional release exclusive to the West Coat. Troya Clasico XVIII Cigar Review

January 24, 2008

I wasn’t sure where I got this cigar until I dug through my notes. That’s one of fun things about running this site, going into my humidor I’m always finding something I didn’t know I had or where it came from. Don Pepin Garcia Vegas Cubanas Cigar Review

January 10, 2008

This cigar was completely off the radar for me, I had never even heard of it. This was shock seeing that it had arguably the greatest cigar maker of our time’s name attached to it. The wrapper and the foot had a strong tobacco scent. It was a bit toothy with small veins throughout. Pre-light draw was a little tight, but produced a straight forward woody tobacco taste. The cigar seemed to have that typical rock solid Pepin construction going for it.

San Cristobal Fabuloso Cigar Review

December 20, 2007

This cigar had probably more buzz than any other cigar coming out this year. Two titans of the cigar industry, Ashton Cigars and Jose “Pepin” Garcia coming together to produce a new cigar. Ashton has owned the San Cristobal name since the mid-90′s, but were waiting until they could blend cigar worthy of the name.
