Tuesday, December 11th, 2007I’m telling ya,,, I’m in love with these Padilla’s! Here’s another one I’ve been waiting to try,,, and I got my chance! This cigar has an absolutely gorgeous wrapper with quite the oily sheen. Mighty fine looking cigar with another flawless construction. It’ll make you drool just looking at it. The 1932 I smoked was the robusto (5 x 50).
EO 601 Green Label Cigar Review
Monday, December 10th, 2007I reviewed the EO 601 Oscuro Tronco shorty after the RTDA 2007 Trade Show, recently I got a box of the La Fuerzas in the mail from EO Brands and I wanted to give this cigar another go to see if the latest productions held up to the same quality as the cigar I got at the show. Upon examining the box I’ve noticed they are putting a date on the box. I really like this added touch, this way you know the exact age of the cigars you’re buying. The box date on mine was 6-OCT-2007, so look for another review of these in October, 2008 as I see how the cigar responds after a year of aging.
Habana Leon Robusto Cigar Review
Thursday, November 15th, 2007One of the more prominent teams in Cuban history, the Habana Leones, were nicknamed the “Rojos”, or “reds” by their fans. The red theme is carried over to this all new cigar named for the famous baseball team. Habana Leon uses a very strong and full bodied blend. The filler is 70% Ligero tobacco, wrapped in a Nicaraguan grown binder. It is topped off by a Nicaraguan grown reddish-brown corojo wrapper from a 2000 crop. A red and gold label top off this full bodied masterpiece made in Miami, FL by Pepin Garcia.
