Monday, June 16th, 2008I’ve done the Brazil and the Corojo so today I move on to the La Aurora Connoisseur Selection Cameroon. One of my favorite Cameroon wrappered cigars is made by La Aurora so I was eager to give this one a try. My one fear is that the Corojo would over power the Cameroon. So let’s get started…

Monday, June 9th, 2008As I said in the La Aurora Connoisseur Selection Brazil Cigar Review, I want to work my way through these different cigars and see how the difference in wrappers affect the flavor. Once I’ve done finished those up I plan to light up the La Aurora 1945 Robusto and see how they compare.
Cigar Review: La Aurora Connoisseur Selection Brazil
Wednesday, May 21st, 2008After reviewing La Aurora’s website I realized I hadn’t smoked many of their cigars lately. The Connoisseur Selection is a cigar enthusiasts dream. It consists of four cigars each with the same blend, but featuring different wrappers. You can try each wrapper and see how the wrapper changes the flavor profile. The Connoisseur Selection features the same blend as the 1495 series, but you have your choice between the Brazilian, Cameroon, Connecticut and Corojo wrappers. I enjoy most cigars with Brazilian tobacco so I thought I’d start there.
