These have been sitting in my humidor for a couple of weeks as I waited to get some time to smoke these two back to back. Punch has a package of two cigars, Candidate A and Candidate B. You smoke them, send in a card and let them know which one you like better. Both [...]

Isla de Cuba Classic Cigar Review

I’d read a couple Isla de Cuba reviews over at Stogie Guys, but other than that I’d never heard of these cigar prior to meeting up with them at the 2008 IPCPR Trade Show. The cigars I got from them went into my humidor with all the other stuff I’d gotten and at the time I didn’t think anything more of it until a few weeks later, Darryl gave me a call and offered to send me a couple more samples. Cigar Review: Cubao No 1

EO Brands Cubao No. 1 Cigar Review

Well I’m not sure if this is more of a treat for me or you. I got my hands on the new cigar from EO Brands. 601 Cigars were featured at one of the weekly tastings put on by The Party Source. Eddie Ortega showed up for the event and handed me a couple of these. He warned me to let them rest a few days before trying them as they were fresh off the rolling table. It was a long wait, I’m not a very patient person. Well I finally gave and lit the first one up last week, and lit the final one up today.
