Senator Seitz’s Letter to Smoke Free Ohio

This is his letter to Smoke Free Ohio, pointing out the deceptive language used in the ballot and their total disregard for anyone’s rights.

Thursday, June 12th, 2008I ran across a press release today from a group that is trying to revise Ohio’s Smoking Ban. I think they have a strong case, but unfortunately political correctness is against them.

Wednesday, March 12th, 2008Alright, that isn’t exactly what they are saying, but close enough. They ban smoking everywhere and raise cigarette taxes, but are complaining about a budget shortfall because less people are smoking. If you are attempting to ban and tax a habit to death maybe you shouldn’t rely on it for the budget.
